L'Étape Ireland Sprint Stage

The Sprint Stage is a segment of the race that is particularly suited for sprinters. L’Étape Ireland includes a segment that is designated as Sprint Stage (sprint segment). 

During a sprint segment in L'Étape, riders compete to be the fastest over a certain stretch of the course. The performance in these sprint segments are timed separately and you will get a sprint stage specific time, separate from your overall time.

There is special recognition and prizes given to the fastest riders in these sections.

The Sprint Stage will be marked by green colour signs on the road. Please pay attention to route marshals and event signage.
